We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly skilled teacher of Art & Design. The successful candidate would be capable of delivering KS3 lessons, and assisting with KS4.
The Fernwood School has a thriving, well equipped and forward-thinking ADT faculty and you would be joining a high performing and cohesive team of teachers and technical staff. The ADT faculty as a whole, has a strong reputation throughout the midlands, and is one of only 4 leading edge schools for D&T nationwide having achieved multiple awards for the quality of our teaching and our broader curriculum approach.
The faculty comprises Art & Design, Design & Technology, Food & Health, and ICT, within which staff work very closely and collaboratively.
The Art department benefits from 3 well equipped modern mixed material art rooms, along with its own ICT suite (with access to all adobe software, graphics tablets etc.).
