Dear Parent/Carer
Year 8 Parents’ Evening Online – Tuesday 26th April 2022
I hope this letter finds you well. As you will be aware from the school calendar, we have a Year 8 Parents’ Evening scheduled for the second week back after the Easter holidays. The date for this Parents’ Evening is Tuesday 26th April. This important event will allow subject teachers to update you on your child’s attitudinal and academic progress, so we strongly encourage all parents and carers to attend. In order to support the whole school community, we will be hosting this event online via ePraise and Microsoft Teams. Attached with this letter is a reminder of how to make an appointment via ePraise so please follow this guidance to support you in signing up for and attending online appointments with staff.
To allow this Year 8 Parents’ Evening to run smoothly, we would like all parents to adhere to the following guidance:
Appointments can be made with your child’s subject teachers between 3:45pm and 6:45pm. Other key staff – Mr Smith – Pastoral Leader Year 8, Ms Rowe – Assistant Pastoral Leader Year 8, and Mrs Cannon – Senior Leader link for Year 8, and Mrs Morrill – Assistant Head Teacher in charge of Behaviour and KS3, will also be available.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to “seeing you” virtually on Tuesday 26th April. The school will send a message to alert you to the ePraise Parents’ Evening booking system, which will be open from Thursday 31st March.
If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us in school.
Yours sincerely
Mrs M Morrill
Assistant Head Teacher KS3
