The Fernwood School has a history of being full, and a large number of applications have been refused. For schools which are full, priority is given to pupils who live within the catchment area (a copy of the full list of admission criteria is published in the Going to School in Nottingham booklet).
The Governing Body requires documentation from every applicant with regards to their home address. It is necessary to request this from everyone to avoid places being gained as a result of fraudulent or misleading information. In such circumstances, places will be withdrawn.
As confirmation of your home address, please provide one piece of original documentation from each of the categories listed below, by 31 October 2021 to The Fernwood School at the address below.
Category 1 | Category 2 | Category 3 |
---|---|---|
Letter from Child Benefit Agency showing child’s name and home address Tax credit letter showing child’s name and home address Child Trust Fund Statement of Account/Young Saver Statement |
Council Tax Bill (current year) |
Bank Statement Utility Bill (not including mobile phone or credit card bills) (both of which should be dated within the last 6 months) |
Unfortunately, unless this documentation is received by the school the application will be treated as out of catchment.
If you are not clear about what information is required please do not hesitate to contact Mrs A Hopkinson or Mrs H Kirkland on 0115 9286326 or admissions@fernwoodschool.org.uk. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
